Social Security numbers, bar codes, ID chips in dogs, and a whole lot of
other things, have been ascribed to the mark of the beast. A brief
study of the scripture will dispel all these myths. I hope after this
short article you will get some understanding about this mystery.
The first thing we must understand is who the beast is. You have
to go all the way back to Daniel to get understanding on the beasts in
Revelation.
Daniel 7:2 Daniel spake and said, I saw in my vision by night,
and, behold, the four winds of the heaven strove upon the great sea.
And four great beasts came up from the sea, diverse one from
another, The first [was] like a lion, and had eagle’s wings: I beheld
till the wings thereof were plucked, and it was lifted up from the
earth, and made stand upon the feet as a man, and a man’s heart was
given to it. And behold another beast, a second, like to a bear, and it
raised up itself on one side, and [it had] three ribs in the mouth of it
between the teeth of it: and they said thus unto it, Arise, devour much
flesh. After this I beheld, and lo another, like a leopard, which had
upon the back of it four wings of a fowl; the beast had also four
heads; and dominion was given to it. After this I saw in the night
visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong
exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in
pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it [was]
diverse from all the beasts that [were] before it; and it had ten horns.
We could keep reading, but for sake of space, we would like to
stop here and expound on this. The vision that Daniel saw, was about
four beasts. These were not literal beasts, but rather symbols of four
kingdoms that would come upon the world shortly thereafter.
In verse 17 These great beasts, which are four, [are] four kings,
[which] shall arise out of the earth. The first beast is in fact the
kingdom of Babylon. It is symbolized by a lion with the wings of an
eagle. Just like the literal lion, it was the king of the jungle so to
speak. As to the wings of an eagle, we know that the eagle can fly far
above ever other bird God created, just as the Babylonian Kingdom
attained power and heights that no other earthly kingdom ever
reached. History tells us that the Babylonians were over taken by the
Medeo-Persian kingdom, symbolized by the bear. The reason the
bear was raised up on one side is because the Medes half of the
kingdom was more powerful the Persian half. The ribs in its mouth
symbolize the remnants of three lesser countries or kingdoms that it
devoured in its conquest. The next beast was a leopard like beast
with wings of a fowl. The symbol of a leopard is because of the
speed in which it took over. That was the Grecian kingdom lead by
Alexander the Great. He overtook the world in just 8 short years, a
feat that had never happened before or since then. It had wings of a
fowl because like a bird it soared over the world but not as high as
did the Babylonians which had the wings of an eagle. History tells us
the Alexander died at a very young age and after that his four
generals took power hence the leopard beast had four heads. The
next beast was a dreadful beast which stamped the residue under his
feet. That was the notoriously powerful and evil kingdom of the
Roman Empire. That is the beast or kingdom that was in power at the
time of Jesus’ birth.
That brings us to the New Testament. Daniel and Revelation talk
of ten horns and one little horn. Horns are a symbol of power. The
Roman Empire had ten divisions, or districts, over which a man
(horn) would preside. Examples would be Pontius Pilate, Herod
Antipas, and so forth. Revelation speaks of a little horn that raises up
to be greater than the rest and that it would have the face of a man.
Constantine was the ruler of the Roman Empire when he saw a vision
of a burning cross and supposedly converted to Christianity. He
made it the state religion and set a man to be the head of it. That man
became the first Pope of the Roman Catholic Church. Revelation
says that the beast gave its seat and authority to the next beast. The
next beast was none other than the Catholic Church. Daniel said that
he would seek to change times and seasons. One needs only to look
at the calendar and see that he was able to do that. Most holidays
(holy days) are a result of the Pope changing Pagan holidays to
supposedly Christian holidays. For example St. Valentines Day, St.
Patrick’s Day, All Hallow’s Eve (Halloween),

….Estare (Easter), Christ’s Mass (Christmas) and so on.
So, having revealed that the beast mentioned in Revelation is the
Roman Catholic Church, what is this “mark?”
Rev. 13:15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the
beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that
as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.
And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and
bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the
name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let
him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is
the number of a man; and his number [is] Six hundred threescore
[and] six.
It says that as many as worship not the beast were killed. In the
dark ages if you refused to become a Catholic, you were killed. That
is what it is referring to here. It says they received a mark “in” their
right hand, not “on” the hand. Whenever you join a church, the first
thing they do to you, as a new member, is extend to you the “right
hand of fellowship.” This is how you are marked in the hand. It also
says they marked them “in” the forehead. This means that they fill
your mind with their doctrine. That’s how you are marked in the
forehead. It also says that if you have wisdom, you can count the
number, and that it is the number of a “man.” That man is none other
than the pope. When a pope is crowned, he places a triple crown hat
on his head, symbolizing his reign in heaven, earth, and the
underworld (purgatory). Upon that hat is written “Vicarious Fille
Dei” which is Latin for “vicar” (substitute) for the son of God (Jesus).
This is blasphemy. He is saying that He is Jesus or God on the earth.
That’s not all. If you substitute the Roman numeral equivalent for
each of the letters in “Vicarious Fille Dei” the numbers would add up
to 666.
So what I am saying? The “mark of the beast” is the fellowship
and consequent indoctrination into the Catholic Church.
